About Lori

Lori has been in real estate sales for 11 years. She spent 10 years at Century 21 in Chico and then in January of 2011 started her own company, Rancho Chico Real Estate with Ally Gibson, and obtained her broker's license. Lori has always worked full-time and consistently performs at the top tier of agents in her firm and in the community. It is Lori's attention to detail, strong negotiating skills and responsiveness that has earned her the ongoing business and referrals of her past clients, along with a reputation for superior service and integrity.

Prior to real estate, Lori was in the Contract Furniture Industry for 15 years, representing Fortune 500 companies such as Steelcase and Herman Miller. She worked alongside architects and designers to furnish and install offices for top companies, law firms and government entities.

Lori obtained a BA from University of California, Santa Barbara in Business Economics in 1985 and has been selling ever since.

Lori is married to Geoffrey Akers and has 2 daughters. She enjoys travel, tennis, cooking, and decorating.
